Each project follows specific steps in a process. These steps are established to ensure that the most effective and smooth process for your project is being achieved. Your expectations are very important to us and the following steps assist us accurately develop your vision.

 

Initial Consultation:

Your ideas are placed to work! Your first consultation will take place on-site with our sales team and is designed to capture your thoughts and ideas and to channelize your goals and priorities. Our sales team will brainstorm infinity possibilities with you and as well a take measurements and perform an assessment of your home to better understand your possibilities. Once ideas are established, preliminary design work will take place and all follow-up appointments will be scheduled.

 

Preliminary Design:

We have the idea! Next, our designers will follow a series of steps to create your plans. They will measure, take pictures, and investigate mechanical and structural systems, zoning restrictions, and other regulations. Your design then gets started with a drawing of the existing space, detailing all necessary changes for your new project and outlining potential budgets.

Estimate & Budgeting:

At this point of your project, your plans and ideas are finalized and are ready to be executed. Our sales team will then create a line item estimate detailing the cost for each part of your project. During this phase, allowances and budgets are also established along with any associating cost required for your project. During this phase, a contract is also drafted illustrating terms and conditions, payment schedules, and proof of all necessary insurances and bonds. Once prices and allowances have been settled, the scheduling phase for your project begins.

Planning & Scheduling:

During this phase, a Project Manager gets assigned and a complete time line of every stage of the project will be created. If required, our designer and Project Manager will engage in a series of presentations to have your plans approved by the city regulatory commission and have your building permits prepared. All corresponding subs are scheduled as well as all material packages. Finish items are reviewed and planned for delivery. A start date and estimated finish date for your project is established along with your online account in BuilderTrend, where you will be able to manage and review your project online. Finally, all corresponding permits and authorizations are gathered and posted.

Construction:

During this phase, your vision begins to turn into a reality. Ground breaking work commences by first, creating containment zones and sealing off and protecting non-working areas and personal property. Also during this time, one final walk-through of your entire plans and site is performed with all teams, along with reviewing the scope of work. Once these initial steps are completed, the demolition phase beings which clears the way for the new construction. The demolition phase also serves as an exploration phase in which any risk are identified and addressed. Once the demolition phase is complete, the rough phase begin in which all the inner workings of your design take place. The rough phase is usually the longest phase of each project and is usually the time where the majority of inspections, if required, are scheduled and completed. Once the rough phase is complete and all required inspections passed, the finishing phase begins in which your vision start to finally be realized. During this phase, all of the finishes you selected at the beginning get prepared and installed per your design. Your entire project will be coordinated and directly supervised by our Project Managers from beginning to end.

 

Final Walk-through:

This is the final step in our process. This is where we performed your final walk-through and address any questions you might have. During this time, the final inspection is also scheduled and completed. At this point, your project is all complete and your ideas and dreams are now a reality.
